All Small Groups are open and welcoming to anyone who would like to participate! You may join in at anytime during the year.
When considering the needs of our people and how to best meet those needs, the Deacons and Deaconesses unanimously agreed that people need to connect. It was then decided that forming small groups within Fulton Church would be the best way to help people connect.
What is a Small Group?
A Small Group is much like what is found in the book of Acts. A group of 6-12 people who gather on a regular basis to pray, encourage one another, study God’s word and share their lives. The format of the meeting includes a time of sharing both our praises and concerns, a time of prayer and worship, a time of studying and applying God’s word to our lives, and a time of fellowship and refreshments.
Why Small Groups?
In Matthew 28:18-20, the Great Commission, Jesus tells us “Go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you”. We can better carry out the Great Commission through Small Groups with “disciples making disciples” and by caring for and meeting the needs of the people.
How you can become a part of a Small Group?
Our hope is that every member and regular attender of Fulton Church will become involved in a Small Group. We have several Small Groups available and our prayer is that one of these Small Groups will meet your needs. You are welcome to visit several Small Groups until you find the one that best suits you. Contact Pastor Larry (email@example.com or 608-371-4300) to learn more about the Small Groups available.
