This week we welcomed “home” Kris Driscoll, as she comes and shared during Mission Moments. Fulton was Kris’ sending church back in 1998, when she left her career as Food Service Director for Marriot Corp. in Stoughton and Janesville Schools, and spent 9 1⁄2 years in mission work in Honduras. In 2007, she returned to the U.S. (Pharr, TX, on the border with Mexico in Deep South Texas) to help care for her elderly parent’s needs. She was provided the opportunity to continue to serve as a missionary in the U.S. with the EFCA Hispanic Ministries with an expanded role to include helping administrate the Immigrant Mission and GATEWAY Theological Institute. She works from her home office via a virtual office and travels usually once a month to Minneapolis and/or other sites in the U.S. She also visits Honduras once a year to continue to support the ministries there.
