Prayer Breakfast

Meets every Saturday, year-round, at 8am in the Gathering Place!

Everyone is welcome anytime!

Prayer breakfast is a time for fellowship with friends, old and new. We pray for each other, our church, our missionaries, our country, and our loved ones around the globe.

We are often blessed to learn how God answers our prayers.

Friday Morning Group

Meets every Friday from 9am-11am in the Gathering Place

Our Friday morning Bible study is working through the book of Revelation.  We will take our time through the book, but hope to finish it by the end of May 2018.  We willbe using a book by Dr. Henry M. Morris called “The Revelation Record”.  Jean Schuett will help you find it.  We will also be watching DVD presentations by Dr. Church Missler.  Bring your book, and your questions and join our lively discussions.

Snack and Coffee is provided.  Come join us anytime you have a Friday morning free.  You can jump in anytime.  You will find friendship, comfort, and challenge.

Culver’s Group

Meets every Thursdays at 1pm at the Culver’s in Newville.  Everyone is welcome anytime!

We are going through a LifeGuide study on the Book of Acts.

“Do you ever feel powerless? It was not always so for the people of the early church. Jesustransformed their lives–and they changed the world! Acts is the extraordinary record of what these early Christian disciples did. The power that you see in action in this book is the same power that can transform your life. As Phyllis J. Le Peau leads you through the pages of Acts, you will begin to understand what the Holy Spirit can do in you and in the world. This revised LifeGuide Bible Study features additional questions for starting group discussions and for meeting God in personal reflection. Included are expanded leader’s notes and a “Now and Later” section in each study.” -Quoted from Amazon

We meet in the large conference room at the Newville Culver’s. Come early if you want to share a meal with others who arrive early.  Each lecture will last about an hour with discussion following unless someone else has reserved the room following our reserved time.  Contact info:  Dick Stark at (608) 862-5262 or dandstartk@tds.net

Salimes’ Group

Meets on Thursdays from 6:30pm at the Salimes’ House.  They aren’t meeting every week, so please contact Pastor Jim if you plan to come.  Currently studying Revelation.

Kindschi’s Group

Meets on Thursdays at 7pm at the Kindschi’s House.

Many conversations come up about and we will have discussions on the biblical and theological questions that are raised within the group, therefore we will not be following a study book this year.

Everyone is welcome!

Women’s Book Club

Our current book is “The Paradigm” by Jonathan Cahn.  Our next get-together will be in January at Diane Ringstad’s home.

“Is it possible that an ancient blueprint holds the secret behind the events of our times?  Could this blueprint lie behind the rise and fall of leaders and governments?  Could events that took place nearly three thousand years ago now be determining the course of our world and with it the course of our lives?  Could ancient figures from the Middle East hold the key to the leaders of our own day, what they do, when they rise, and when they fall?  Is it possible that this ancient paradigm has determined not only the events of modern times but also their timing-even down to the exact days and dates?  Could a mystery from the ancient Middle East have foretold the outcomes of current events more accurately than any poll or expert-even the outcomes of presidential elections?

Has this mystery even touched the events of your life?  Does the paradigm reveal what will take place in the future?  And does it contain a warning critical for every person in this generation?

Prepare to be stunned, shocked, illuminated, and amazed. The Paradigm will reveal secrets and mysteries taking place all around you and show you what you never could have imagined. Jonathan Cahn, who caused an international stir with his New York Times best-selling book The Harbinger, will take you from the ancient Middle East to the news of the modern world on a journey you will never forget. As you open up The Paradigm, his most explosive book yet, you may never see your world the same way again.” – Quote from ChristianBookstore.com
