Every year, starting the first week of Advent, Fulton Church takes up a special collection called White Gifts for the King.  This has been a tradition at Fulton Church for decades.  In the past, people would give donations in the form of money or gifts of food wrapped in white tissue paper.  These gifts were for families that we personally knew in our church family or community that were in need.  In most recent years most give monetary gifts.  This tradition has touched so many families at a difficult time in their lives and it really gives us a chance to show them how much we care and how much Jesus cares!

There is a white box in our narthex for the donations.  This special collection is given to a needy family (or families) in our community and is a way to help shine the light of Jesus in their lives at this special time of year.

If you know of anyone you feel would benefit from this offering, contact one of the members of the Caring Committee.  So many of us have been blessed beyond what we need or deserve, and this is a chance to share our blessings with someone less fortunate.
